I may sound like a walking cliche, but I have really started this new year feeling different. I feel grown, I feel aware of who I am, what I want to be and above all really happy and content.
I have been sticking to my word of 2026 which is "Now" - I am completing tasks, taking action rather than sleeping on it. There has been a real shift 💫
Life clearly has plans and I am sure some of those may try to derail this new found sense of clarity, but right now I am in it and I feel good!
Here are a few things that I have been doing which I think have helped me and may help you 👇
- spending less money: I am a professional money spender, but I am making changes. I have made a deal with myself to not impulse buy anything this year. Not even skincare 😂
- eating well: home cooking, baking and making it all from scratch. It feels right and helps me destress and focus.
- lists and tasks: I am setting micro tasks and achievable daily lists and completing them before I start something else. I 100% have undiagnosed ADHD so this has been a battle I have dealt with all my life BUT I am taking baby steps and it’s good to see jobs get completed (fully!)
- after dinner walks: suggested by my bestie, this has been so lovely. As a family or one to one time with kids. After dinner a quick loop around the block has been such a reset for my mind.
- mini self care recipes: Habit stacking my self care so it’s achievable!
