Do you need 200g of protein per day? No, probably not. Our needs are unique and depend on our body, goals, and lifestyle. As for me, I’ve found this to be the sweet spot for where I’m at right now on my fitness journey. I’m in a slight caloric deficit and making sure to get more than enough protein so my body has a steady stream of amino acids to pull from for musculature. Below is what a day of eating looks like for me to hit that protein goal 🌱💪

Meal 1 - Overnight oats, 75 grams dry oats mixed with 1 cup ripple protein milk, 4 ounces of fruit and one scoop protein powder.

Meal 2- Two slices Dave’s killer bread, vegan boca burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, 3 oz avocado and sugar-free ketchup/mustard.

Meal 3 post-workout- 2 scoops /42 grams of vegan protein.

Meals 4 & 5- fava bean based tofu, 1/2 block, 200 g jasmine rice, 350 g broccoli/mixed stirfry veg with Braggs liquid amino acids and stir-fry sauce.

Meal 6- Snack, PBFit powder / 4 tbsp reconstituted with sugar-free maple syrup smeared on two rice cakes.

Daily total 📊Calories 2590, protein 201, carbs 352, fats 42, fiber 71.

As 2025 comes to a close, I’m taking stock of the last 12 months while reassessing my goals and vision for the year ahead. I’m reflecting on the progress I’ve made, with the intention of continuing to compound it—little by little, day by day—pushing toward my maximum potential.

This year has undoubtedly had its share of challenges, especially when it comes to mental health. Even with the hardships that presented themselves, I can still look back on 12 months of quality time with my daughters, Vegainz, new friendships, opportunities, and personal growth.

Here’s to forging 2026 with intention, fam! Drop a comment if you’re locking in! 🌱🔐💪
Buffoonery I’m not falling for in 2026:

👉 The carnivore diet. No, we’re not carnivores. We never were. We evolved as opportunistic omnivores.

👉 Associating meat with masculinity. No, there’s nothing masculine about clogging your arteries, which can lead to heart disease and an increased likelihood of erectile dysfunction.

👉 Taking anything seriously from someone with “Primal” in their profile. 🙄

👉 Animal cruelty. Simply put, meat, dairy, fur, and leather all equate to animal exploitation, suffering, and death.

👉 “Humane” slaughter. It doesn’t exist. There’s no humane way to kill a being that does not want to die.

Just some food for thought 🌱✌️

Vegan protein fundamentals! 🌱💪

1. What is protein?
Protein is a macronutrient comprised of amino acids. Amino acids are the building blocks of muscle and tissue. Protein is essential because it is the only macronutrient that contains amino acids.

2. A big misconception is that plant-based protein is lacking in amino acids, and this is not the case. For example, soy — which is a completely safe and viable option — not only contains an abundance of protein, but also has a complete and rich amino acid profile.

There are other sources like seitan (vital wheat gluten), which also have an abundant amino acid profile. By eating a balanced diet with varying sources incorporated, you’ll be getting more than enough amino acids throughout the day.

3. How much protein should I be consuming per day? 🤔
This is a nuanced question, as it’s predicated on your body composition, statistics, and goals. A general rule of thumb is ~1g of protein per pound of bodyweight. That said, this can vary greatly from person to person depending on goals and how your body responds.

4. My go-to protein sources & brands:
fava bean–based tofu, traditional soy tofu, seitan from brands like (you can also make this yourself), TVP (textured vegetable protein), as well as soy curls, which I order on Amazon.

Some more processed options that I incorporate in moderation are chik’n strips and Boca burgers.

For protein shakes, I use a 100% natural vegan protein with a complete and abundant amino acid profile — there are multitude of high quality plant based protein powders on the market.

Hopefully these fundamentals provided some value! If you have any questions or need further elaboration, feel free to reach out via DM. 💬

You’re going to piss off a lot of people when you #govegan and advocate for the animals—even more so when you’re absolutely smashing stereotypes and proving the bro-science wrong for 12+ years. Personally, I’m more than okay with that! 😆🌱💪

It’s crazy to me how triggering veganism is for some people on social media. Now, don’t get me wrong—I appreciate the trolls, because it’s their commentary that boosts our content in the algorithm and allows us to reach a broader audience. Because of this, I’ve had some great dialogues and have helped many people incorporate more plant-based options into their diets, as well as helping some fully transition. And for me, that’s what it’s all about. Not to mention, some of the comments are ridiculously entertaining and perfect for reels like this 😁

The fact of the matter is, I know veganism to be better for my health and the health of those I love. I know it’s better for the sustainability of our planet, and last but not least, I know it promotes the fair and ethical treatment of all animals. That alone is more than enough reason for me to continue being a voice for the voiceless and sharing veganism at every opportunity I can 🌱✌️💪

After 12 years vegan, it’s clear that I’m completely malnourished and deficient in protein—whatever will I do? 💀😆

The reality is, a plant-based diet has everything you need to build muscle, gain strength, and thrive as a whole! Simply put, our gains do not have to be an animal’s loss 🌱✌️💪

I wanted to take a moment to shout out #TeamConsciousMuscle member and coaching client. Over the past months, I’ve watched her absolutely crush her fitness journey! Kristina doesn’t make excuses—she has reasons, and because of that, she shows up for herself every single day, even on the tough ones. Because of her consistency and mindset, I’ve seen her progress in every area and become an absolute vegan-strong machine! 🌱💪

I’m so grateful to be part of your journey, and more importantly, thank you for showing the world what we vegans are made of! 🤜🤛

So I’m just gonna go ahead and put this out there and make it clear, you can’t love animals and eat them. When you love a being you don’t take part in a process that calls for its forced breeding, systematic suffering/torture and eventual murder for pallet and profitability. And regardless of how you frame it, whether it’s factory farmed, grass fed or whatever label you like to attach to it, there’s no humane way to kill a being that does not want to die.

Quite literally the only thing that separates the animals on your dinner table from the ones you love, pet and enjoy is the value that you attach to them, it really is that simple. Over 11+ years ago I decided to attach value to all life, not just the ones I saw fit based on my cultural & societal conditioning.

These are my morals, my ethics & my belief system, other people don’t have to like it but I will continue to share it, promote it and fight for the fair & ethical treatment of all animals. I don’t enjoy animal cruelty so I couldn’t imagine not living in this fashion. Just food for thought🌱✌️#veganforanimals

When the vegan muscle says otherwise😆🌱💪
What bothers me more than the ignorance and misinformation with commentary like this is that so many people still buy into it. The fact is you can get everything you need to build muscle, gain strength and thrive as a whole on a plant-based diet! 💯

The data is in, the bro-science is out, it's time breakthrough all the cultural/societal conditioning and information you've been spoonfed your entire life to see that there is a better way of doing things. A way that is better for your health, the sustainability of our planet and last but not least the fair and ethical treatment of all animals. #GoVegan 🌱✌️

Could you imagine!? If only I ate meat I could be like 300 pounds at 5% body fat while bench-pressing 1000 pounds! 🤩

Haha, not really though! The reality is there is no secret ingredient found in meat/dairy that will help you more optimally build muscle. You see, the thing is the body needs "protein" not meat. Your body will then break down the protein into the amino acids necessary to build musculature / tissue.

The general misguided argument here is that animal proteins contain more aminos than plant based protein sources. This is not the case when you're eating complete proteins such as tofu, tempeh, seitan, TVP, powder & more. There are a myriad of protein sources that contain a complete and abundant amino acid profile so you literally lack nothing and have everything you need to build muscle, gain strength & thrive overall! #Vegan for the win!🌱💪
