Der First Crack beschreibt den Moment, in dem Kaffee beginnt, sein volles Aroma zu entwickeln. Die restliche Flüssigkeit vaporisiert schlagartig, die Bohne expandiert fast auf das doppelte ihrer ursprünglichen Größe und Säure, Süße, Körper aber auch Bitterstoffe werden harmonisiert. Hierbei löst sich auch das Silberhäutchen, welches wir für unser Granola nutzen.
2nd Crack
Spätestens hier startet der Dark Roast. Röstaromen werden dominanter, Charakter und Herkunft treten mehr in den Hintergrund.
