After sharing that Coeliac UK had worked with to declare their vinegar gluten free as it was under 20ppm, I have been informed by you guys about more supermarket finds that contain less than 20ppm (as per EU/UK gluten free regulations) meaning they are gluten free, despite listing a BROW ingredient on their ingredient list.
It is a nice reminder that GF items can hide away from the ‘free from’ aisle.
**Note - this information has been pulled from the individual products websites. The declaration of gluten free has been given after strict testing to ensure they are under 20ppm, which is the current gluten free / coeliac safe regulations in the UK and EU. Always check labels as recipes can change.

Okay so I’m late to the party, as a I know this was announced earlier this year, but I only just found out!
Sarson’s Malt Vinegar and Distilled Malt Vinegar are now officially gluten free
•They have been tested and show they contain less than 20ppm
• Declared coeliac safe by
•Bottles will now carry the Crossed Grain Trademark
The ingredients list will still list barley, but due to preparation process (proven by strict testing) the gluten levels are super low and safe for people with coeliac disease 🙌
‼️It is only these two products from Sarson’s range that are gluten free - not all of them!
Sharing incase anyone else (like me) missed this announcement! I got all this information off the website. They have a section in their FAQs if you have more questions.

I was lucky enough to travel around New Zealand this November to visit my brother. These were my favourite GF finds throughout the country. Proof that being gluten free and travelling with coeliac disease doesn’t mean missing out…. As I’m still dreaming about these eats. I’ll definitely be back as I found New Zealand great for gluten free finds and understanding coeliac disease.

Loved seeing all the wrapped posts on Instagram, so I’d thought I’d do my own gluten-free version.
From discovering amazing 100% GF bakeries to taste-testing way too many snacks 😋, and never leaving the house without snacks. As well as some not so good moments, yes one crumb of gluten will still hurt!
Being gluten free isn’t always easy, but the happiness of finding safe treats and new places is so worth it, along with knowing I am looking after my body ⭐️

2025 has been an incredible year for travel and gluten free food 🌍
When I was first diagnosed with coeliac disease, travelling felt scary and impossible. However, my post-uni travels have proved that travel is still very much possible on a gluten free diet, especially with a little planning ✨
