Happy Mother’s Day to the mamas who get to wake up with their babies today, and to the mamas spending today missing theirs.

I see you. I’m praying for you.

If today doesn’t look like the picture-perfect Mother’s Day you were hoping for, I hope next year brings healing, peace, more time, more laughter, and everything your heart has been longing for.

You are still their mother every single day, even on the hard ones. 💐

“Just trust me” and “the kids will be fine” stop meaning much after trust has already been broken once.

Especially when alcohol has impacted the relationship, the children, or coparenting.

One of the biggest things I teach my clients is that healthy co-parenting boundaries are not about punishment or control. They’re about creating safety, consistency, and accountability for the children involved.

That’s why I tell my clients about Soberlink, for parents who are trying to rebuild trust, document sobriety, reduce conflict, and create more peaceful co-parenting.

Soberlink is tamperproof, uses facial recognition technology and helps rebuild the trust that was lost.

Because kids deserve stability… and parents deserve peace of mind.

And when I said no?
I became the “bad guy.”

Here’s the truth about high-conflict co-parenting:

Boundaries are not about CHANGING your co-parent.
Because if you’ve been doing this long enough… you already know—they DON’T change.

Boundaries are about changing your response.

❌I’m not taking on responsibilities that aren’t mine.
❌I’m not fixing impulsive decisions.
❌And I’m not sacrificing my time, money, or peace to clean up someone else’s choices.

So yes—
the fish went back.

And yes—
I enforced the boundary.

Because a boundary without a consequence is just a suggestion. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sometimes protecting your peace means being misunderstood.
Sometimes it means your kids see you hold a firm line.
And sometimes it means you look like the bad guy…

But you’re not.

You’re the stable one.
You’re the consistent one.
You’re the safe place.

If you’re co-parenting with a high-conflict ex, you don’t just need better communication—you need better boundaries. And you need to know how to enforce them!

This morning’s run looked a little different—two extra sets of feet running and eyes watching. 💛

I brought my daughter and niece with me because at this age, kids they absorb…Like little sponges. And the truth is, most of what they learn from us is “caught, not taught”.

I can talk all day about health, boundaries, and self-care—but if I’m not actually living it, they won’t believe it.

So I’m working to normalize what I want their future to feel like:
Movement. Peace. Happiness. Support. A life that feels good to live.

They’re watching me choose better—and one day, they’ll know they can too.

What are you normalizing for your children? ✨

Eight years of co-parenting spring break, and this Easter felt different.

I got the kids back Easter afternoon (after attending church amongst all the intact families) They walked into a clean, cozy home, their Easter baskets waiting, and we celebrated with the people who love them most.

What no one tells you is that sometimes divorce gives you something you never had before. Space. And what you do with that space matters.

I’ve spent 11 years as the “default” parent. And somehow, now as a divorced mom, I have learned how to parent, build a career, create beautiful memories for my kids, and still take care of myself.

This season of my life feels different though. It feels steady, abundant, grateful and calm.

Grateful for my faith. Grateful for my family. Grateful for my work. Grateful for my babies. 💛 Happy Happy Easter. He is risen! 💐✝️🐰💝

Merry Christmas 🤍🎄

To the moms who don’t have their babies today—please hear this: it’s just one hard week. Stay busy. Be with friends and family. Let yourself feel it and let yourself be held and loved by your support circle.

Last Christmas, I didn’t have my babies… and I couldn’t even speak to them. It was devastating. So if today feels heavy, it makes sense. Especially when you’re navigating a difficult co-parenting journey. It’s okay to be sad—and it won’t always be like this. Better days really are ahead.

If you’re new here, welcome 🤍 I share real-life co-parenting support and life after divorce. I’ve survived 8 years of high-conflict co-parenting, post-separation abuse, and family court hell—and after 8 long years, my co-parenting dynamic has completely transformed.
Praise Jesus, miracles do happen.

I pray you never have to be called “strong” or “resilient” again, and that you step fully into your blessed life chapter.

Merry Christmas Friends. I see you 🤍
Setting boundaries with a high-conflict co-parent is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do.

You second-guess yourself. You feel guilty. You’re told you’re “overreacting.” It might even feel like you’re doing something wrong.

But when someone has proven—over and over—that they use access to you for chaos, control, threats, or disrespect… limiting that access isn’t cruel. It’s necessary.

Of course they still have access to the children.
That doesn’t mean they get unrestricted access to you.

Using a co-parenting app is a powerful, healthy boundary.
And when you finally protect your peace and step out of the constant noise?
The freedom feels unreal.

If you’re already using a co-parenting app but still struggling—especially during the holidays—comment “mom” and I’ll send you a link to get my parenting plan blueprint plus bonus holiday guide.

Divorce communication is one of the hardest parts of the process. Not the paperwork but learning how to talk to someone you may have a lot of emotional heat with.

And when kids are involved, communication doesn’t end just because the relationship does. You still have to protect your energy while showing up for them.

That’s why I brought on Tessa Noel and Heather Ruiz from Talking Parents to talk about co-parenting communication that reduces conflict and chaos.

Because healthy communication isn’t about fixing your ex. It’s about reclaiming your power and creating calm for your kids.

🎂✨ Made my girl’s favorite cake for her 11th birthday — and I can’t help but reflect on everything these 11 years have held.

If you would’ve asked me back then where life would take us… I never could’ve imagined the strength, resilience, and courage this journey would require. Unexpectedly Becoming a single mom when she was barely 2, navigating a $300,000 family court fiasco I never asked for — none of it was in the plan. Yet somehow, here we are. Still standing. Still growing. Still choosing joy.

I hope when she looks back, she remembers a home filled with laughter and warmth— a mom who dances in the kitchen, paints the walls her favorite color, and keeps the fridge stocked with treats. A mom who listens to her voice, anticipates her needs, protects her peace, and teaches her that real love looks like consistency, empathy, and presence.

I hope she always knows:
✨ She is deeply loved and celebrated.
✨ Relationships should honor her heart.
✨ Her feelings matter.
✨ Faith can guide her choices and her future.

May she grow up seeing what healthy love truly looks like — so she never has to repeat the pain her parents endured. May she break the generational patterns with confidence, clarity, and Christ at the center.

Happy 11th Birthday, my sweet girl. Thank you for giving my life purpose, passion, and joy. You are the reason I fight for a better future — for us and for other moms walking a similar road.

Here’s to more cakes, more belly laughs, more healing, and more miracles. 💕🍰
I love you, always.

Have you hit that “I can’t keep doing this every holiday” point yet? 😮‍💨🦃

It’s Thanksgiving.
You’ve been cooking since 8 AM.
Your whole family shifted dinner to noon to accommodate the custody schedule… and then your co-parent suddenly wants to change the pick-up time. Again.

So now they want the beginning of the day free so they can have the evening kid free… and somehow this happens every single year.

This isn’t new. You already know the drill: last-minute requests, shifting plans or “forgetting” the schedule and being expected to “just make it work.” 🙃

Holidays shouldn’t feel like chaos.
They shouldn’t feel like negotiations.
And they definitely shouldn’t feel like you’re the only one adjusting. 💛

✨ Are you tired of the constant co-parenting chaos? Comment “THANKS” and I’ll send you the link to my Holiday Co-Parenting blueprint —your roadmap to a calmer season, no matter who you’re co-parenting with. 🎁
