In 2018, I bought a fitnesss related book for the first time…instead of “borrowing” it from an “online friend” or the coaches in my circle. Also the most expensive book I had -bought in my life. For some reason, Amazon thought it right to send me two copies despite having ordered just one. The other one I passed to a friend who completed CSCS certification a couple years ago.
Anyway…I wanted to get the CSCS certification since 2018.
But couldn’t go past the first chapter without giving up.
Over the years, I’ve kept skimming through random chapters here and there whenever I needed to figure something out. By 2023, I had given up on the idea of pursuing this.
In January this year, pitched the idea of doing this thing for once. And we went all in.
-Studied the fuck out of this book.
-Watched every video that explained any concept I didn’t understand.
-Learnt to execute every movement this book has in it.
-Joined a few Facebook communities of people pursuing the same thing as us. Turns out I’m blocked in one of those groups🤷🏻♂️
Finally, the day came, stayed awake till 4.45 in the morning studying, slept for an hour, left for the exam and 4hrs later I’m the newest Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist [CSCS] in my FIRST ATTEMPT!!!!😁
I didn’t know this but there are only around 350 CSCS in this country at the moment according to
There’s literally nothing I can be more grateful for than having by my side all along.

I've been in this profession for more than half a decade now. The common denominator between people who stay stuck at the same weight and people like is that even in the face of biggest struggles, he will still keep trying to do the best he can.
And when I say struggles I don't mean he struggled with finishing his protein intake or showing up to the gym during low motivation days. I mean, travelling across cities, countries even, working insanely long hours, GETTING MARRIED, attending social gatherings, and a thousand other difficulties and still staying in track.
Not once has he ever missed sending me his updates regardless of whether there was progress made or not, not once did he complain about how slow the progress has been sometimes, every single time, it's just "hey XYZ problems happened what can I do better, the next time I'm in this situation?"
And most importantly: Having a super supportive fiancee now wife makes it impossible to go off track for too long. 😛 You'll soon be seeing a couple transformation post about these too, more muscular and stronger. 💪😬
The habits these two have built over the time are such a permanent part of their lives at this point, their past selves seem like a different era from a different world; there's NO resemblance between the couple who signed up with me and the one who I'm training at the moment.
As I always say,
" losing 12kgs in 12 weeks doesn't excite me.
But staying 12kgs lighter for the rest of your life definitely does"
