This was not a “regular” HIIT class. 😱
It was about GRIT and enduring beyond the physical fatigue, while maintaining disciplined mental focus. 😎
AND YES, a 5 burpee penalty was enforced for EVERYONE when that focus slipped! 🥵

I was finally able to accomplish a race goal that I set before the Covid pandemic.
I completed my Trifecta in 2022 qualifying me for this year’s 2023 Spartan Trifecta World Championship in.
My wife was so supportive working around our vacation schedule for me to fulfill & complete my dream for which I’m forever grateful. (3 hours in a rental 🚗 to “Sparti” from Athens, not long after 14 hours ✈️ 😳)
My goal was to run it clean without penalties. Although I failed 2 obstacles, I was extremely happy & blessed to have had the chance to experience this memorable event, and to finally accomplish a bucket-list personal goal! 🙏
