This is honestly one of the biggest mistakes I see people in the gym make whether you’re a beginner or experienced gym goer. Stability is going to give you what you need to be able to push more weight and get you that dummmppyyyyy. 🍑🍑
Not only that it’s going to make it so you don’t injure yourself unnecessarily.
If you see me going down further at the bottom of the step up it’s to increase my range of motion because what I was using was actually slightly too short for me and dw I wasn’t pushing off with my foot 🤗

So many things have changed this year
- started a new job
- had surgery
- made new friends, met new people
- finished school
- took my boards and passed
I am so thankful for the opportunity to do all of this even if it gets tough sometimes. I can’t wait to see what the next year has in store for me. And most importantly I’ve got my spark back with posting on social media. For a minute I was really frustrated with where I was at in the gym and now I’m finally back doing my normal workouts and being able to push myself and also playing volleyball again so my mental health is pushing through too.
Do the hard things—you’ll be so proud when it’s all over🤗

Just felt a bit unmotivated to post here on IG because I haven’t been able to do my normal workouts and because I’ve been absolutely drowning in nursing school. I’m going to try to get my spark back and be here and show a bit more of my life.
I had surgery May 14 so I’m hoping that by the end of June I can start getting back to lifting heavier and doing the things that make me feel great 😊
We all go through so many things in life and most of the time they’re unexpected but you just have to learn and cope with it and push through to be stronger in the future.
