Il paraît qu’à l’origine les maisons de Burano étaient colorées pour que les pêcheurs puissent retrouver leur maison par temps de brume.
Désormais les habitants ont l’obligation d’entretenir régulièrement la couleur de leur maison.
Quelques spots à ne pas manquer:
La Casa Bepi, le Tre Ponti, le Love Viewing Bridge, le Pont de marbre de Terranova.
Et pour se régaler, des biscuits Esse de Bussola à la Panificio Pasticceria Costantini, de bonnes pâtes à la Trattoria Al Gatto Nero (réservation) ou une pizza au Ristorante Pizzeria Principe.
Au passage, on vous recommande de vous arrêtez sur l’île de Torcello qui est clairement sous cotée et si ça vous tente la ligne 12 mène aussi à Murano (verre soufflé).

En comparaison aux îles Surin, le snorkeling était pour nous beaucoup plus intéressant à Surin, et tout le reste était plus beau aux îles Similan 🏝️

Voici quelques tips:
Pour les petits budgets, on peut s’y balader et prendre des photos gratuitement. Il y a également le bar glacier et sa terrasse panoramique avec la vue sur les salins roses, Face aux salins le restaurant « La Cambuse du Saunier », la galerie d’art, la boutique pour acheter du sel de Gruissan, qui peut être aromatisé (herbes et épices même Coriandre ou Cacao) et les visites guidées.
Un lieu agréable pour les petits comme pour les grands 😊
Conseils: certains jour le rose sera plus ou moins prononcé. Pour une belle couleur, il est recommandé de s’y rendre en début d’été (juin/juillet). Les images ont été prises en août 2024. Et dans tous les cas, au coucher du soleil, le rose ressort moins.
Pour info, la couleur rose est simplement due à la prolifération d’algues microscopiques.
