We were recently featured by House and Garden discussing bathroom no-no’s, and it has made us want to show off all of our bathroom yes’s!

Swipe to see a collection of some of our favourite bathrooms over the years. Looking back, it’s such a joy to reflect on the variety of these spaces we have created.

Designing storage is always part of the early conversations when working on bathrooms. They can range so much in size and shape, and unique solutions are often the answer. In the first image at my Putney home, we used reclaimed Perspex panels to conceal full height shelving in this ‘in-between’ bathroom vanity area. The reflective surface adds another layer of dimension and of-course, I love the red! A small framed scene of Putney Bridge made by a local artist and a bespoke film on our high level clerestory window depicting a view of Putney embankment from Fulham, are both personal nods to our local area.

‘Bathrooms work best when they are both calm and practical and storage is a big part of this’

Practicality is always a consideration as well. Flooring is a big one - cork has been a go to for us over the years for its moisture resistance and anti-microbial qualities, as well as it’s low impact on the planet (and being soft underfoot!)

‘Materials and finishes should be chosen not just for how they look, but for how they perform and how easy they are to maintain’

Having just returned from an inspiring long weekend in Mallorca, we wanted to share some highlights. Valuable time was spent catching up with old friends, a bit of work, good food and enjoying Mediterranean life!

1-3 Exploring the quiet streets, in and around our beautiful base in Pollenca

4 Spent the evening enjoying Japanese fusion

5-6 Visiting the museum, loved to be able to inhabit Joan Miró’s studio and feel his creative freedom first hand

7 A quick stop off to check out a potential project with - what a view this will be facing the bed in this room

8 Spotted these little bird details on some outdoor furniture whilst enjoying a wonderful al fresco lunch in Fornalutx

9 Loved these wall details, where stones had been set into the wall facade future - saving this one for a future project one day!

10 Heading home...

A weekend shaped by slow walks through buzzing markets and delicious long lunches🌞

We are thrilled to be ‘officially’ launching our Marylebone project on here, with one of our project sketches! It’s been a while since we’ve done one of these, and love how they give each project a unique identity.

A fourth-floor apartment in the heart of London, where tailored charm and threads of colour are bringing new life to a previously monochrome family home. You may have already spotted glimpses of the scheme on our grid - swipe to see it begin to come to life 💙

We wanted each space to feel classic and timeless, in keeping with the mansion-property bones. Future-proofing has been a key focus throughout - from removable fabric-wrapped panels that add texture and flexibility, to bespoke joinery designed for practical city living. Soothing blue tones wash the master bedroom, soon to be layered with upholstery and carefully curated details. As installs continue, we’re sourcing final accessories and refining the finishing touches. This beautiful Fragile Peace fabric will soon become statement cushions for the completed bedroom scheme - we can’t wait.

Moving upstairs at our Putney home, today we’re sharing the guest suite. With a lot of our family living outside of London, we wanted to create a space that people would genuinely want to come and stay in, feeling welcoming and comfortable, but also luxurious, providing a bit of an escape. Swipe to see the transformation in reverse order...

Designed for temporary visitors, we focused on storage to suit. Just enough for a short stay without big unnecessary pieces that clutter the room - these hanging rails allow for a shirt to be hung up for the next day, without needing to unpack into a big wardrobe. Mismatched antique bedside tables are family heirlooms, tying in nicely with a reclaimed timber door from (just out of shot). The split of paint colours that lines the room continues across curtains, with a seam dividing two fabrics that follows at the same level. Controversially, our original plan was for this to be a bath free house. However, my sister in law was adamant I would regret it, so we put a bath in the bay window just for her! This particular roll top bath is painted Bronze with a dramatic spotlight making it a focal point from. Carpet by breaks to micro concrete around the bath area for maximum practicality.

Final accents include a lamp with a shade made from fabric for a little pop of colour, and a long bolster with gorgeous florals from. The artwork in the room is a mixture of pieces which mean something to us, including a portrait I bought in my twenties by a family friend artist. Just in shot sits a sofa that is over a hundred years old that has been reupholstered several times over its lifetime - this latest version sees it in gorgeous Facet from

We set out to create a little sanctuary in the hustle and bustle of London, and love how peaceful and serene this space has become, with pieces which tell a story, natural textures and earthy greens🪴

So far this spring we’ve been back and forth from lots of site visits, in the studio and everywhere in-between, not forgetting keeping up to date with some of our wonderful suppliers. Colourful schemes are keeping spirits high (helped by a bit of sunshine here and there!)

The next set of photos you see of our Dulwich project might be a bit more polished, so it’s time to catch you up to speed! Site is a hive of activity; wallpaper is going up, joinery is taking shape, final paint coats are being applied, and fixtures and fittings are going in.

The schemes radiate colour - on the top floor, the blush tones of Farrow and Ball’s Setting Plaster contrasts to the intensity of Preference Red. The two colours meet across the bay window, where a desk space will be enveloped in the rich, darker tone of the two - building a separation between rest and work. On lower landings, Pearly Porcelain makes bright Beetlenut shelves pop on the landing spaces - both by Paper and Paint Library. And through-out, striking Dock Blue by Little Greene defines the original staircase features.

Natural greens weave through the master suite on the first floor, sitting next to walnut veneer and brassy metals in the en-suite bathroom. The layers of texture are all starting to shine through as we near completion. Sculptural tiles, natural stone and angular plasterwork, to name just a few… We’re also loving how these geometric tiles are looking in the basement floor - this small space now has it’s own Mediterranean inspired personality.

It’s so rewarding to see these designs finally come into fruition, when everything starts to click into place.

Feels like too long ago now, but sharing a quick moment on the grid for our wonderful Easter trip to Barbados.

A place which means so much to us and me in particular. This year, we had friends join us - a thrill for both us and Rufus, who had company for his surf lessons, beach adventures and building challenges.Time with friends and family; exploring the island and sharing some of our must visit places, beach strolling and swimming, hot sauce challenges quenched with a rum punch or two, lots of reading, sharing our love of dominoes, searching for the famous green monkeys… it’s always a magical place to be and share with loved ones.

And it’s not a Caribbean holiday without an unfortunate sunburn, swipe to the end😵

1. Long lazy beach days
2. Evenings spent star gazing, and tracking the international space station!
3. Making friends with a green monkey
4. These views never get old, sunsets at home
5. Making memories and sharing mocktails
6. A pair of lobsters!!

Home Sweet Home

A pinch me moment today for myself and the studio, to see our own home renovation project featured on

Thank you to at House and Garden for your very special words recording the epic journey that we’ve been on, and to for capturing it so beautifully.

What’s now our family home began as a warren of bedsits. We took it right back to brick for a full house conversion, reimagining the layout to create light-filled spaces that feel open, connected and welcoming. We were able to draw on what we’ve learnt from past projects, but also wanted to leave room to experiment. It wasn’t about chasing a specific look or feel, but combining experience with curiosity to create a nest that is authentic to us as a family. Sustainability was a driving force, we pushed ourselves to learn and test, striving for a home that functions with a lighter impact on the planet - from larger elements that affect the day to day running of the house, down to repurposing materials for some of the smaller specifications. The view into what would become our (very lush!) wildflower garden also shaped the design, so that when we’re not actually outside, it never feels too far away.

Thank you to my studio team, this project took a village.
And speaking of villages, our vision was brought to life with the expertise of Daykin Marshall Studio and Rubix Construction. Special shout-out to and Ed Pinto, for their invaluable support through-out this process. There are too many wonderful trades and suppliers to name right now, who were all part of the crazy ride. Over the coming months we look forward to sharing more of the story, many thank yous and some juicy before and afters, so get ready to dive in! In the meantime, visit the link in our bio to explore our new home.

We’ve love to hear your questions about the house, drop us a message❤️
