Hi, I'm Jennifer, and this is my story.
After 20 years working as a hair stylist in Kansas City, I received a devastating diagnosis. My life as I knew it quickly changed, and the very thing I had invested a 20 year career into became something I personally struggled with.
I loved helping others feel confident and beautiful, but I suddenly didn't feel so confident myself after experiencing hair loss.
I dove deep into research and began formulating a haircare line to help with my hair loss - and CityGrl Haircare was born!
Citygrl Haircare is a line of salon quality, plant-based, sulfate free, cruelty free products.
They are designed to heal your scalp from the inside out - and help with hair loss, thinning, and overall improved scalp health and healthier hair.
After the loss of my parents two years ago my family and I relocated to Washington County, Kentucky.
We have fallen in love with the area and are excited to begin our next chapter here.
Citygrl Professional will be opening the doors to our first retail location in March of 2026 in Springfield, Kentucky!
I'me here to support anyone struggling with scalp health, hair loss, or just looking to switch to clean plant-based haircare products.
I plan to offer scalp assessments in person and virtually, scalp treatments, training on how to use our product line, and sell all of our haircare and make-up products.
I'm also planning to offer hair and make-up for events and potentially other services as I see a need in our community. Let me know what you'd like to see offered here!
