Missing closing day this year hurts. I’d much rather be out on the mountain with all the homies soaking up the last laps, but I’m currently 34 days in on my east coast fire season. Figured if there was ever a year to hang it up early and get to work, this was it.
Bittersweet way to end it, but I’m thankful for the season, the people, and all the memories that came with it. If you’re up there today, get a few turns in for me!

Even though I’m currently 2,500 miles from my home mountain on a fire assignment, I’m looking forward to getting some spring park laps in with the homies before fire season ramps up full time for the summer.

An iconic landmark to those who enjoy all this mountain has to offer. Like many of us who consider this mountain home, and I have always dreamed of getting a shot like this. After hours of digging into the night, and running on minimal sleep, I’m beyond stoked we were finally able to pull it off!
