HIRIE “Elevation” — My band HIRIE released our 5th full length album, Phases, in October and I had a hand in co-writing some, beat/co-production on some, saxophone, flute, melodica, keys.. including the haunting opening melodica lick for the title track of the Phases album
Antoinette “I Won’t Hide” — I took part in the co-writing (along with Antoinette and Alissa Ward) as well as production of this single release by friend and collaborator Antoinette. Had fun with the drum’n’bass outro:)
Chris del Camino “Wayward Heart” — co-written in a songwriting camp in Spain alongside Noah Timman and Bruce R.F. Smith, with Noah handling the production. My only solo release of 2025. More planned for 2026!
Johnny Cosmic, KBong, Boostive “The Way Back” — this track takes me back to the DAY before we flew out, having packed our things from California, en route to what would become our new home, Amsterdam. Of course I said lfg when Cosmic hit me up to be a part of this awesome vibe!
HIRIE “All Is Ok” — this started as a super dreamy beat in a very basic form written on Logic Pro. Blew me away how it was realized with the band, Danny Kalb and a feature by The Movement!
Natty Campbell, Dmac Burns, gHSTS & gUITARS, Sam & The Womp & friends “Di 12 Dubs of Spliffmas” — this massive collab was a super irie way to end 2025, with a weed anthem ode to Christmas. Been having fun in Amsterdam meeting and collabing with some awesome folks!
DTO, Alorita, Chris del Camino “Nomadic Soul” — DTO hit me up earlier in the year to be a part of another of his super entrancing collaborations alongside artist Alorita. There are several alternate mixes depending on the potential needs of a particular yoga/movement class. —> more in first comment
But here we are in 2025 and I had to see what it was like to translate my voice into hers—does it serve the idea, help it ignite a spark in the artist and land the song a firm nook in their heart? Maybe it helped a little:)
In this video you can see and hear how it started with the Guiding Star demo in my voice, then a couple phrases is the AI voice, ending with a splicing of the audio from our finished album Phases 💿 with Trish’s actual recorded voice.
This was a song I started as an ode to having children, watching them grow up and having to let go of each phase: newborn, infant, toddler… each step closer to their grown-upness is a step further from all those precious moments you try best to have as many of as you can.
Was super stoked to have Trish catch a vibe here and carry it through to completion with her awesomeness, along with Danny Kalb and the rest of the band who smashed this latest album of ours:)
