Celebrating 20 years of In Season 1, I had the gift of being cast as Charlie Day’s prom date, a moment that meant so much more than a simple credit. My real-life prom was a total sham, but somehow the universe circled back and handed me an epic memorable prom night. I’ve been reflecting on how life quietly weaves things together long before we understand the meaning.
When I first arrived in Hollywood, I found the fiercest manager, Kathy Carter, a woman who saw me clearly and believed in me from day one. She lined up multiple meetings, and afterward said, “Pick one.”
The big agencies were tempting, but as a sensitive empath, something felt off. I needed heart, loyalty, and real connection, not labels. That led me to McCabe/Justice.
Brian McCabe had a calming, grounded presence, steady, thoughtful, and safe.
Todd Justice carried an electric brightness, sharp and joyful, with the kind of clear, honest eyes that made you feel truly seen. A total rockstar. Together, they gave me a foundation. They advocated for me, supported me, and because of them, I tested for three pilots my very first pilot season. Their belief was pivotal.
I’m endlessly grateful to Wendy O’Brien, one of the absolute coolest casting directors and to John Papsidera and your incredible team. You saw me at a time when I was still figuring out my own life. You saw me again years later, after I’d evolved and returned with new layers. I’m deeply thankful. 360 and just getting started. LFG.
