this piece is a spiritual continuation of my strawberry house piece from back in 2021 — the little sprite made it home safe and sound. I painted the base of this piece with acrylic gouache and colored pencils and then finished it off digitally on procreate. it was my first time painting traditionally in many many moons so it was a shaky process but ultimately very fun!! and soothing, surprisingly, once I muscled through the discomfort. 🌟🦋
