AnnoyingBox는 유튜버 조매력, 재즈 색소포니스트 이삼수, 재즈 피아니스트 Jimindorothy, 프로듀서 MUXANT를 중심으로 결성된 빅밴드다. 2024년 11월 EP [First Contact]를 통해 데뷔했으며, 서로 다른 배경을 가진 멤버들이 모여 장르를 넘나드는 사운드와 서사를 결합해 하나의 유니버스를 구축해가고 있다. 2023년 <원더리벳 페스티벌>을 시작으로 <서울재즈페스티벌>, <송도 트라이보울 페스티벌> 등 다양한 무대에 참여하며 활동을 이어가고 있으며, ‘낯선 지구에 정착한 외계인’이라는 설정을 기반으로 음악을 넘어 하나의 세계관을 구축해나가고 있다. 다가오는 5월 발매될 두 번째 EP를 통해 AnnoyingBox만의 확장된 세계를 선보일 예정이다.
AnnoyingBox is a big band formed around YouTuber Charming Jo, jazz saxophonist Samsu Lee, jazz pianist Jimindorothy, and producer MUXANT. The group made its debut with the EP [First Contac]t in November 2024. Bringing together members from diverse backgrounds, AnnoyingBox blends genre-crossing sounds with narrative elements to build a cohesive universe of its own. Since their appearance at the <Wonderlivet Festival in 2023>, they have continued their activities by performing on various stages, including the <Seoul Jazz Festival> and the <Songdo Tribowl Jazz Festival>. Based on the concept of “aliens who have settled on an unfamiliar Earth,” their project expands beyond music into a broader world-building approach. With their second EP set for release this coming May, AnnoyingBox is expected to present a further expanded version of their unique universe.
