Charlotte is a photographer, she specializes in documentary portraiture. In her work she is looking for the sound of silence. Maria, with a background in both graphic design and philosophy, conceptualizes artists’ works and gives them new forms. By seeing Charlotte’s photographs she started wondering how it can be that body parts as the universal building blocks of every human body, at the same time ensure that all those bodies are unique.
With their latest series of work Echoes the duo questions individuality in universality. In order to emphasize this duality the photographs are translucent, creating a mystical interaction with its environment.
