So here’s what’s on the list for this month, a couple are leftover from the end of December, as I was too busy watching Home Alone for the 83rd time. A lot of these are continuing series, if you’ve not watched before, go back to the start, you won’t regret it. A special call out to anyone who wants to catch up on 14 seasons of, you will not regret it!
Please note, I am not into a crime / murder drama unless it’s extremely camp or a ‘whodunnit’ / Poirot vibe, however every now and again I will make an exception for what we call on the pod ‘stressful TV’. I’ve been in this online space for well over ten years, I started off with this page as space for the magazine I produced, RIP Betty and now it’s a page where I share what I am enjoying in life right now, mostly fashion, interiors, food, TV and other bits and pieces - it’s a real mixed bag actually 😅
I love to research, so if I am sharing something it’s not on a whim….it’s something I truly love. I also never save anything for best, love a natural fibre, have a strong fondness for pickles, and tend to be overdressed.

1) Wipe the wall down with sugar soap + a sponge. Let it dry.
2) Measure the full width of your wall and divide it by how wide you want your stripes.
Eg. my wall was 151.5cm, I divided it by 15 to get 10.1cm stripes, make them thicker or thinner to suit you.
3) A laser level = your best friend.
Use it to measure the stripes and then lightly mark with a pencil, then tape use Frog Tape to set them out.
4) Before adding colour, paint over the tape edges with your base colour (mine was white). This seals the tape and stops paint bleed.
Quick tip: dab a tiny bit of paint on the stripes you’re colouring.
5) Apply 2–3 thin coats of your stripe colour with a small roller.
