Hi! I'm Marie👋 I'm the founder & "Cheese Executive Officer" of Charcutemarie. I soft launched Charcutemarie in December 2020. I was working as a wedding planner and due to COVID had to postpone every wedding that summer. I was feeling super defeated and really missing that sense of gathering with the ones you love most. I thought about what could create that feeling, and for me it always came back to the charcuterie board. In our family, it is the thing that we (especially the women!) naturally gravitate towards and keeps us together -- snacking, drinking wine & sharing life stories complete with heartfelt tears and belly laughs. I decided this could be the way I could give back that sense of gathering to others. Almost 4 years later, our team of women has created something so special, and this business wouldn't be where it is without each of them. So here's a little about me, and stay tuned for more about my team!
A few fun facts about me:
🧀 I am Momma to Baby Cheesey - the sweetest 14 month old boy, who is our whole entire world. He is already a big fan of brie & cheddar and will be making salami roses before we know it.
🍇 While the beach is my happy place when I need a recharge for the soul - I am definitely a lake girly. Put me on a pontoon with a solo cup of champagne, good tunes & great snacks and I am gouda.
🍓Hubby Cheesey & I are always actively planning ways we can live in Charleston, SC. This gorgeous southern city holds such wonderful memories for us & we visit every chance we get!
