For me, the start of Mother’s Day was better this year.
Although grief never fully disappears, I was surrounded by love, creativity, and meaningful connections that helped make the day a little easier.

Truthfully, I wanted to take my mind off not having my own mom physically here with me, but God has a way of wrapping love around you through people, purpose, and creation. Through this experience, I was reminded that a mother’s love never truly leaves. It lives through memories, strength, nurturing, and the love we continue to pour into others.
The unedited and edited photos were honestly so hard to choose from, so I just went with the unedited because everything doesn’t always have to be “perfect” all the time. Sometimes the raw moments hold the most beauty. ✨
