We actually waited a day before telling anyone beyond our family & friends who were in Mozambique with us, & if we didn’t have a surprise party planned for us that invites needed to go out for, I probably would’ve kept it even longer because that little bubble of us was incredibleeee.
BUT!! Seeing these reactions was also incredible, and so grateful to have (most) of our calls captured cause this is SPECIAL 😭🥹 (eek missed a few rookie era, haven’t been engaged before x)
That’s a wrap on week 10 of our marathon training block, and feeling so gooood 🙂↕️ but it’s also now a wrap on our last weekend being home in South Africa 😭😭😭 but got to celebrate my bday with my friends, spend qual time with fam, eat unreal food, have lots of fun &&& do our last long run alongside the ocean, SO nothing but GRATITUDE 💖🥹

The moment it happened. We were all having a sundowner on the beach in front of our spot in Mozam, Corbs had flown the drone up and then grabbed me to go “dance”, and in that moment I just burst into giggles because I knew, and it all became a blur. Looking back on this is so special, it was all my dreams (and more) come true and very grateful to have had some of our most special humans with us.
