Casa Divale is set within a desert landscape facing the sea, where the sun, the wind, and the natural slope of the terrain shaped the project’s design guidelines.
The textures of the site are reinterpreted through the material palette, bringing the project to life with stone materials, local woods, and ceramics that evoke the tones of the Pacific Ocean, as well as the flora and fauna of a place as unique as Todos Santos.
More than a house, it is a space created to listen to the site.

Con 2,750 metros cuadrados destinados a la vida compartida, Estudio Cristina Grappin diseñó, en paralelo con el cliente, una experiencia integral en la que arquitectura e interiorismo dialogan desde una visión común, articulando materialidad, escala y atmósfera bajo una misma intención proyectual.
El objetivo fue que estos espacios no se percibieran como áreas comunes tradicionales, sino como una extensión natural de cada departamento; así, las amenidades invitan a la convivencia sin perder de vista la intimidad ni el sentido de hogar, logrando un equilibrio entre lo colectivo y lo personal.

Se trata de un edificio de vivienda en renta con 329 departamentos, donde diseñamos la arquitectura interior de 2,700 m² de amenidades dedicadas a la vida compartida.
El proyecto propone espacios cómodos y versátiles que se adaptan a distintos momentos del día y a distintas formas de habitar, transformando las áreas comunes en una extensión del hogar.

We are pleased to share the 9th Issue of Revista Manera, where our amenities project for Gran Ciudad Neuchâtel in Polanco is featured.
It is a residential rental building with 329 apartments, in which we designed the interior architecture of 2,700 sqmts of amenities dedicated to shared living.
The project proposes comfortable and versatile spaces that adapt to different moments of the day and different ways of living, transforming the common areas into an extension of the home.

We designed a home in a hidden place along the Pacific Ocean coast, conceived to engage in dialogue with the vegetation, the ocean breeze, and the shifting light of the sea.
Honest materials, deep shadows, and open spaces allow the surroundings to take the lead rather than serve as a backdrop.
An architecture that creates its own identity, born from the site.

El proyecto se concibe a partir de la relación directa con el entorno. Cada espacio fue orientado para capturar la luz natural, favorecer la ventilación cruzada y establecer una continuidad clara entre interior y exterior.
La arquitectura responde al contexto desde la proporción, la materialidad y la apertura, construyendo una atmósfera donde el paisaje forma parte activa de la experiencia espacial.

The project is conceived through a direct relationship with its natural surroundings. Each space was oriented to capture natural light, promote cross ventilation, and establish a clear continuity between interior and exterior.
The architecture responds to its context through proportion, materiality, and spatial openness, constructing an atmosphere where the landscape becomes an active part of the spatial experience.
