❌ You can tell from the first drawing when the brows are symmetrically placed on both sides that one brow is obviously higher and one brow is lower. If we followed this guideline, we would have to eliminate majority of her hair while also having a lot of blank space which the tattoo needs to fill in. This is not ideal because once the tattoo starts fading, the work would not look even or blended.
✅ The best case scenario is to slightly go off the symmetrical path and create shape on both side where more of the brow hair can be saved. I am still eliminating some of her hair that falls out of my shape while testing the limit of how much I can push one brow down while raising the other one up so that they would meet more in the middle. As long as the shape’s thickness is the same on both sides we will have a great brows 👌
