I remember sitting at Nikkos kitchen table, 2am in Mexico City about 8 cervezas deep. I needed to catch a flight to Ecuador in 6 hours… I was heading to the Amazon.
I remember telling myself this might be a bad idea & that I shouldn’t make choices like this after drinking. I assured myself I made this decision hours ago, pre cervezas. Last two slides are the photo of the scene & a video of me on the boat the next day (my little hippie alter ego haha).
I don’t regret it. The only thing I regret is finding out too late that there was no running water in my accommodation that night. I put hand sanitiser on this tattoo for a week just hoping for the best as I headed into the jungle to spend a week remote with no shower.
Nothing bad happened. I get so many compliments on this tattoo, I’m not sure if people are just being polite haha, it definitely needs a touch up. Either way, 10/10 would recommend following through on your impulsive thoughts. It’s all going to be okay. Might get to extend it ✨
