This set was all about working with challenging nail anatomy while keeping the natural nails healthy and protected. In this case we were working with:
• Short nail beds
• Hyperhidrosis/moisture prone nails
• Sticky cuticles
• Extremely thin, sensitive skin
• Capillaries very close to the surface causing quick irritation during prep
Something important to keep in mind while working

Square extensions are one of the BEST shapes for this type of nails to get a balanced look.

One important thing is that when the lunula is very visible, the nail bed is often softer and more sensitive underneath. Over-filing or applying too much pressure during the manicure can easily cause discomfort, rings of fire, or even damage to the natural nail.
That’s why I’m using a red flame bit with a finer grit and working with extremely light pressure to safely clean the cuticle area without overworking the nail plate.

• Corrected the downward growth without adding bulk
• Building strength with proper structure placement
• Safe manicure techniques
