At the
Walked into an Irish bar next to my hotel, ordered a beer, and asked if they had live music. The waitress said the band canceled, so I volunteered to “sing a couple of songs for you.” She thought I was kidding..
Ten minutes later, I’m on stage, plugging into their PA, singing to a packed house of complete strangers.
Took a song for people to get into it, singing, clapping, dancing, sending me beers!
By the end of the night, everyone was on their feet, they wouldn’t let me go, passed a hat around and got me some money, and they even sang the national anthem for me.
I walked in for a quiet drink… and walked out with a story with a happy ending! ❤️
