2025 felt like five years packed into one.
It began with my siblings visiting us, long conversations, laughter, and a road trip that filled our hearts.
I worked harder than I ever have before, creating hundreds and hundreds of plates for incredible restaurants—pouring myself into every single piece.
Then came one of the hardest moments of my life: closing my studio.
Selling everything I owned.
Saying goodbye to my kiln and my wheel.
Walking away just when I had finally reached the place I had worked so hard for.
We travelled to Japan together—another lifelong dream come true.
Soon after, we said goodbye to Australia to move back home, closer to our family.
In the middle of all that, we became Australian citizens—bittersweet and meaningful all at once.
We settled back home. The kids adapted, found their rhythm, and started a new school.
I started a new job, stepped into something completely new… and even found myself on TV.
There were months of distance—too many months—separated from my husband, who had to stay in Australia longer.
Missing each other. Holding on. Trusting the process.
And then, finally, we were together again at Christmas. ❤️
2025 was a year of endings and beginnings.
Of letting go.
Of becoming.
Here’s to whatever 2026 brings.

Lately, I’ve been inspired by the quiet beauty of stones: how they break, how they erode, how time shapes them. Trying to recreate that natural poetry in clay feels grounding and exciting at the same time.
Five years later, I finally glazed them — and now they’re ready.
It’s a mixed feeling, reconnecting with unfinished pieces and trying to remember how I once imagined them. But I’m happy with the results, and it felt meaningful to fire up my old kiln again (which now seems so small compared to Fuego, the kiln I had in Australia!). I’m grateful to have the tools I need to keep creating.

Being on national tv yesterday was such a beautiful experience ✨
We talked about the rise of social activities —especially ceramics— and why so many people are looking to disconnect from screens, meet others, create with their hands, and spend real time together.
We also highlighted the important role of women in this new wave of socializing: taking care of ourselves, having fun, learning, and doing things that make us feel good. 💛
Joining this segment gave me a huge boost. It gave me energy and strength to keep building my project here in Barcelona. Starting again with two little ones and after five years away isn’t easy, but I’m feeling that spark and creative energy again.
