Back in 2016, Caribe & Co. didn’t exist but I was still in the food world repping Caribbean flavors.
In 2015, I competed on ABC’s The Chew for their Tournament of Teens competition and won 1st place🥇 Subsequently in 2016, I was featured in The Chew Approved cookbook for my Puerto Rican Style Pernil recipe.
Flash forward 10 years and I’ve written my own recipe book title ‘If I Had A Cafe in the Caribbean’ featuring 18 coffee & cocktail recipes celebrating the Caribbean flavors that I love 🩵
10 years apart but still the same passion and heart🇯🇲
I can’t wait to do a throwback in 10 years or so and see how much Caribe & Co. has grown!

Recipe (makes 3-4 servings)
Carrot Punch Sauce:
2 medium carrots
1 cup water
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp Mexican Vanilla Bean syrup
Latte:
4-5 oz milk
1 tsp matcha powder
1 1/2 oz hot water
