First grade students designed their own unique monsters and shared their creations with students in the high school Media and Techniques course. Using the drawings as inspiration, the high school students created stuffed versions of each monster and developed original comics based on how they interpreted their characters. 💥
The project came full circle when the high school students returned to present the monsters and comics to the first graders, who proudly shared descriptive paragraphs highlighting their monster’s special qualities, personality, and story. A creative collaboration filled with imagination, storytelling, and connection across grade levels! 🌟
