La Comisión de Atletas llevó su programa Valores Olímpicos a los estudiantes y atletas del Instituto Tecnológico de Las Américas (ITLA). Esta iniciativa tiene como propósito motivar a los jóvenes a integrar los valores olímpicos en su vida diaria, promoviendo su formación como hombres y mujeres de principios.
El programa, encabezado por la atleta olímpica Gina Mambrú, realizó su primer encuentro el pasado martes 2 de diciembre de 2025 en las instalaciones del ITLA. La actividad contó con la presencia de Luisito Pie, presidente de la Comisión de Atletas; Camil Domínguez, vicepresidenta; y Blanca Iris Alejos, coordinadora del programa de Mentoría Deportiva.
Asimismo, la atleta Cándida Arias acompañó a Mambrú para compartir reflexiones sobre la importancia de los valores dentro y fuera del escenario deportivo.
El equipo de la Comisión fue recibido por el rector del ITLA, Rafael Feliz, quien expresó su agradecimiento por la implementación de esta iniciativa en beneficio de los estudiantes. También participaron Miguel Volquez, encargado de Deportes del instituto, y el destacado árbitro internacional Raymundo Féliz.
Acercamiento al programa
El programa Valores Olímpicos busca promover la Excelencia, la Amistad y el Respeto mediante charlas y conferencias diseñadas para inspirar a atletas, niños, adolescentes y jóvenes.
Su objetivo es que estos valores trasciendan el ámbito deportivo y se conviertan en pilares para la formación de ciudadanos ejemplares.
A través de estas intervenciones, la Comisión de Atletas impactará a estudiantes y deportistas de clubes, ligas y academias deportivas, fomentando una filosofía de vida basada en la integridad y el desarrollo integral.
