When I first tried Teeling Irish Whiskey, I knew it had to become a Basque Cheesecake 🙌🏼
Finished in Caribbean rum casks, Teeling develops a rich, warm character with notes of raisin, dried fruit, vanilla, spice, and oak. A whiskey with depth, personality, and a story in every sip, just like us.
So we took those flavors and folded them into our signature Burnt Basque Cheesecake.

En esta segunda parada de nuestro recorrido por las tartas de queso que nos inspiran, tuve la oportunidad de descubrir Zaragoza, una hermosa ciudad situada entre Madrid y Barcelona que, sin duda alguna, enamora. Su historia, su cultura y su encanto hacen que cada rincón tenga algo especial que contar.
Fue allí donde conocí Bascake, una marca que, para mi sorpresa, cuenta con varias localidades en España y que muchos consideran la creadora de las mejores cheesecakes de Zaragoza. Durante la Semana Santa tuve el privilegio de degustar varias de sus tartas, pero hubo una que me dejó sin palabras: la de queso Cabrales.
Para los amantes de los quesos intensos y con personalidad, esta tarta es una experiencia fuera de lo común. Un recordatorio de que la creatividad en la repostería no tiene límites y de que siempre hay nuevas formas de sorprender al paladar.
Algo que también admiramos profundamente es su capacidad de crear sabores de edición limitada según la temporada. Ver cómo otros pasteleros exploran, innovan y se atreven a salir de lo convencional nos inspira a seguir haciendo lo mismo en Camila's Patisserie.
Porque si algo hemos aprendido en este viaje es que el límite lo ponemos nosotros mismos. Y que no existen las cheesecakes malas, existen cheesecakes diferentes, creadas para gustos, momentos e historias distintas.

Conocerlo era un sueño. Por su atún rojo, famoso por algo. Por todo lo que representa: un pedacito de Cuba en Madrid, creación del Chef Mundy (José Ynglada) y su esposa Arahy, que se siente tan cercano a lo que son tantos en el sur de la Florida.
Y entonces probé La Bailona. Esta tarta capturó algo que nunca había sentido, una emoción que hasta ganas de llorar da.
