On January 13, CalTrans finally announced that Big Sur is fully reopened starting today. This is the longest Highway 1 closure in history after the Regent’s Slide closed the highway in January 2023 after a massive storm.
The reopening is going to be amazing to finally get to fully enjoy Big Sur and the small businesses along the 1 that have been suffering through this closure. Go buy local and treat this amazing place like your home. Enjoy! 💙

In Marin County, one of California’s most beautiful waterfall hikes will leave you speechless! Climb hundreds of stairs through cascading waterfalls to a place that is reminiscent of the lush forests of Hawaii! Greenery everywhere and easily one of my favorite waterfall hikes in California!
There is limited parking so show up early. Leave no trace and leave this place as beautiful as you first saw it. Have fun, bring water and be sure to give yourself 3-4 hours to do the hike at a comfortable pace. 💙
This hike in Marin County is one of the coolest waterfall hikes in California! It reminds me of Hawaii but it’s in the Bay Area! This was shot today directly after multiple rainstorms. Everything is so green and it’s absolutely mind blowing and incredibly peaceful. It’s without a doubt a must see! 🌲🌊
