Summer is my preferred time to establish and grow native plants, it’s not impossible but it does necessitate new skills.

Your plants would benefit from summer establishment and thrive completely come fall and winter.

Keep in mind with El Niño developing more developed and established plants early are a huge key to offsetting potential situations with erosion, stabilization and flooding.

Grasses will cover these and more easily. By as always native plants are infrastructure in how they are used and applied. Catch a class and learn a whole lot more.
