The revitalization of this catheterization (cath) lab is made possible thanks to a generous investment from Lorne and Kristi Jacobson and The Jacobson Family Foundation. It will ensure healthcare professionals have access to the most state-of-the-art space, technology, and equipment with which to care for heart patients.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Jacobson family for their remarkable support, as well as to our other donors who have supported the cath lab renovation. We continue to raise funds to complete renovations at Calgary’s cath labs at the Foothills Medical Centre.

30 Years of Impact 💙

Before 1996, Calgary’s hospitals, continuing care sites, and community health programs were each supported by separate foundations. Every organization made a difference - but there was an opportunity to do even more, together.

That vision came to life when Bud McCaig, then Chair of the Calgary Regional Health Authority, brought six foundations together to form Calgary Health Trust. Generosity across the city gathered under one shared purpose: advancing healthcare for all.

What followed was a powerful shift. Community leaders rallied around a simple but profound belief: supporting healthcare isn’t just admirable - it’s a responsibility.

Today, Calgary Health Trust has evolved into Calgary Health Foundation, but that same spirit of collaboration still drives everything we do.

Because of our donors, past and present, innovation is accelerating, care is improving, and people across Southern Alberta are living healthier, fuller lives.

Here’s to 30 years of impact - and everything still to come!
