I’ve photographed over 1,000 dogs in the studio, but people? Not my usual subjects! I wanted to get creative, play with new lighting techniques, and mix in my love for fitness.

It’s been over 18 months since I last stepped into the studio for a shoot, but after a sudden burst of inspiration a couple of weeks ago, I reached out to a friend, hired a studio space, and booked in their gorgeous pup… and she did not disappoint!
Margo was an absolute natural in front of the camera; curious, calm, and full of personality 🤍

100 runners battling brutal rain and relentless wind, yet somehow the atmosphere was nothing but joy, grit, and kindness.

Born with Multiple Epiphyseal Dysplasia — a rare condition affecting bone growth, causing chronic joint pain and fatigue — and living with a heart defect that requires a pacemaker, Dave continues to push through challenges that most of us can’t imagine. He also happens to hold the for the Fastest Marathon on Crutches! 👏🏻
I’ve followed Dave for a while, he’s a local legend in Plymouth and a familiar face at running events, so it was a real privilege to document part of his journey as he trains for a Crutch attempt in just two weeks time.
What draws me to photographing endurance sport isn’t just the movement or the landscapes; it’s people like Dave - stories of resilience, quiet strength, and the kind of determination that refuses to be measured by anyone else’s standards.
What a weekend! Running in 29°C heat is no small challenge—let alone tackling an ultra marathon. After completing the 12 hour event myself last year, it was incredible to experience the event from the other side this time.
The community around these races is truly something special. It’s inspiring to witness people push themselves to their mental and physical limits—all in the name of endurance and personal growth.

What a gorgeous face to welcome us into the first photoshoots of 2024! Bruno was an absolute delight to photograph, filling the room with his bountiful energy and curious head-tilts.
Photographing puppies requires a significant amount of patience, yet it never fails to bring me joy! ✨ These photoshoots are a precious opportunity to capture those fleeting moments of adorable innocence that define the early stages of a puppy’s life.
