Just 2 hours away from London, hidden in the New Forest, there’s a little paradise for dogs.

- A place where pups get welcomed with biscuits and cupcakes during afternoon tea,
- run around beautiful gardens and historic 17th-century rooms,
- go on countryside walks surrounded by ponies and horses…

and don’t even get me started on the dog beer in the pub.

šŸ“: one of the most beautiful dog-friendly places we’ve ever stayed.

P.S.
After this staycation, my dog may never want to come back home again šŸ˜‚
this is just 50 minutes from London. Hard to believe.

Costa del London, or snaps from the hottest weekend in the capital of England so far.

Like every Londoner, we stormed the rooftops ( and were the ones), visited Chelsea Flower Show (although there are no flower photos because it was an absolute sea of people), and used the parks as shelter from the scorching sun. Hyde Park and Regent’s Park remain my top choices, always.

There were also a few discoveries of lovely local spots along the way.

Overall, it was hot. Fun. Very social. And dress season has officially opened.
Just another weekend in London >>

And hopefully the last one where we still need trench coats.

– market at Chiswick House & Gardens: the best place to find unique pieces for your home. Or yourself;)
– Lunch at The Lamb pub
– Chudo Coffee: probably the best use of old red phone booths across the city
– Ralph Fiennes live in. Truly phenomenal.
– Breakfast in - one of my favourite spots in town
– A bit of shopping and coffee at
– Long walk in my beloved Hyde park
Postcards from the North York Moors. Because why not?

There was a time on Instagram when people posted highly curated photographs:

Photos taken on professional cameras.
Edited for hours in Lightroom.
The kind of images that looked like they belonged in a magazine.

And people would stop and stare.

Those were the golden days of Instagram. Back in 2017–2018.

So when I went to Yorkshire, I wanted to go back to that era.

To forget about reach.
To forget about likes.
To simply enjoy photography again.

I dusted off my camera and shot almost everything on it instead of my phone.

Because photography is a different kind of art.

And there is no better place to practice than somewhere as heavenly as this.

P.S. Leave a comment if you’d like me to DM our route through the North York Moors.
48 hours in the Yorkshire Dales…

…felt like stepping into one giant movie set.

My own little Wuthering Heights moment: winding roads, dramatic landscapes, baby lambs, and views so beautiful they hardly seem real.

It’s grand. It’s majestic. The food is delicious wherever you go. And yes, the accent can be a bit challenging to understand.

Here’s what we explored in just 2 days:

- Grassington, Skipton, Thwaite, and Reeth villages
- Malham Cove: the Yosemite of Northern England
- Ribblehead Viaduct: an absolute must-see
- Old Gang Smelting Mill featured in one of the scenes from Wuthering Heights
- Buttertubs Pass: the views here are simply incredible

…and countless other stops along the way.

Because the best way to experience Yorkshire is to get in the car and keep driving until you stumble upon something extraordinary.

The kind of place that makes you want to come back before you’ve even left.
The older we get, the more we crave being close to nature.

Finally made it to Yorkshire… and now I understand the hype.

I went to Yorkshire, England… and it was beautiful.

1. It’s tiny. And after a 2-year lockdown, it felt even smaller.
2. There’s only one season: hot and humid every single day.
3. Which messes with your sense of time - it can feel like Groundhog Day on repeat.
4. As much as I appreciate Singapore, the lifestyle didn’t quite fit me.
5. I love walking through cities, soaking in architecture, getting inspired by art, music, and spontaneous discoveries. Singapore has a bit of that, but its size and setup limit how far you can go.
6. Career-wise, it felt like I hit a ceiling. Most of the decision-making power sat in the West.

P.S. I still love Singapore. It’s an incredible place to live - I just outgrew it and needed something new šŸ’š
