Ofc I had to try the 7/11 one, to see what the hype is all about, yes the bread was soft and overall it was OK, but it didn’t give me that kick and “I want to eat this for breakfast every day” feels.
But then one day, I took a random stroll to this place and found this egg sando in 3 small slices. The bread was softer, the egg creamier and it way more flavorful and yes this one I did have multiple days in a row as breakfast (or late night snack even) and it never disappoints! 😍❤️
It is pricier though vs 7/11, 3 small slices for ¥386, vs ¥291 at 7/11, but if you wanna go for ultimate flavor, then I’d reco you to go to:

📌Here are my first impressions of the products, in order of appearance:
Caramel sauces in vanilla & pumpkin spice flavor! Can’t wait to use these sauces in my coffee or desserts!
How pretty are these tins with mints from?! I’m defo a sucker for cute packagings but I’m super curious about the interesting flavors too, like ginger & orange!
Loving these minis from that you can use as dressing or to add that extra flavor to your dish!
Not new to crispy chili oil, but I haven’t tried the version yet. So will defo try this out with my next meal, since it usually makes any dish better. Go to to get this!
Sticking to the 🌶️ theme, made a very interesting fusion of mayo & crispy chili! So wanna try this on my sandwich!
Some of you may already know my love for truffle, so when I saw the cheese with truffle tapenade from, I was very happy! Defo gonna use this for the upcoming Easter borrelplank!

Went here in the early morning on a weekday, so was happy to see that there weren’t any queues and I could walked right in!
Ordered a matcha latte with coconut milk and a matcha tiramisu. You could choose between 3 premium matcha varieties and I went for YABUKITA since I love my matcha to be more on the creamy side.
🍵 The matcha latte (€6.5), was indeed creamy, not nutty or too vegetal, which I like, it did I think overpower the coconut milk a bit. But overall OK.
🍰 The matcha tiramisu (€4.5) had a good cream/cake ratio. It was a mix of vanilla and matcha cream. It was quite filling so I would share this next time.
They also have toasts, sando’s, soft serves and other sweets, even melon pan! So I am still curious to try those as well. But I would go on a weekday so that you don’t have to queue. Appreciate the lady at the counter who was very friendly!
I love that it’s close to Rotterdam central station so you can always take a nice matcha & japanese bakes to go before taking your train!

I’ve started this birthday solo dating tradition last year and plan to keep it up! But honestly I think we should always plan a solo date for ourselves more frequently right?! ☺️
And if you want to go to Amsterdam, I can totally recommend going on weekdays! It’s super chill not to queue all the time like on weekends. Just be mindful of the opening times though as some cafes aren’t open on Mondays/Tuesdays! ☕️
