I spent the morning going to, a must if you love fabric and a wide selection of thread, and. In the afternoon, and I took a flower pounding workshop with. It was fun, if unpredictable! I tried to tame my design by pounding the flower stems to make a grid.
I also bought a tiny ceramic bathtub in the Craftcation popup shop. If you know me IRL you might know that I love pieces like this, so as soon as I saw it I knew it was mine 🛁❤️

I’m Sara, and I run Bear&Bean, an embroidery studio stitching pet portraits and other beloved creatures. I live in Seattle with my husband and our three cats (Bear&Bean is the nickname for two of them). I’ve had a life-long love of animals, and it’s a great joy to bring them to life in thread!

My background is in illustration, so I love taking on custom client embroideries. If you found me from my reptile collar, that was a custom pet portrait! I also love problem solving, so that’s another reason I enjoy taking on requests and why I enjoy stitching on garments, bags, and hats. It’s always fun figure out how to translate my design outside of an embroidery hoop.
