Long story short: I was deep in design center decision fatigue (tile brain is REAL) and somehow missed the memo that the builder tile would stop right there. 🫠
Looking back, I probably should’ve had them paint it and decided on tile later but hindsight is 20/20. The good news? We fixed it immediately after closing and I’m OBSESSED with how it turned out.
We used Trevisa Bianca tile from and it completely transformed the space.
And yes… I told my husband we weren’t having any visitors and no moving furniture in until the fireplace was done. I said what I said. 😂🔥
