Seeing more trans people there would mean the world to me, and I’m not alone this time, Miss will be there too ā¤ļø
I also think transmasc ppl of color specially men are also judged and punished disproportionately into oblivion and you guys wanna tell us that they’re toxic masculine but all the men you date or your cispicious ggg@yy friends are doable?
From this past weekend šŸ’“

Video:
I’m always self aware to talk about my family because in the trans/lgbt bipoc community: I am Becky with the supportive parents… And not just parents: My family too… I realized much later in life how precious they were, how precious is the voice they left on me. I wish I had understood the sad eyes that they all had looking at me, knowing how much the world would hurt me, and it really did and they weren’t even ready to protect me, yet i always carried their voices saying that not even the skies were a limit for a girl like me.

The more the time passes i realize how much I am them, all of them, even in my work: Everything I work with I learned from them before I learned it professionally. My housewife poet grandma thought me writing and I learned to cook when I was 12, when she was depressed grieving the loss of my grandpa and stopped eating. She did not like cooking yet she gifted it to me.

My mom thought me and still teaches how to handle people, events and crowds. Shes such a powerhouse, became a boss and awarded for her cultural contribution without ever finishing school.

My dad thought me public relations, how to ā€œswallow frogsā€ to get where I am supposed to. He thought me to be fearless, I was always so effeminate but he literally raised me to be a debater and free thinker. He also thought me humbleness, he always reminds me that our clothes and appearance don’t matter.

My aunt thought me to stand for my rights, to protect myself, to understand systems and enter them. I don’t remember her ever saying a word that made me question myself.

My mom’s family thought me comedy, I never had any comedy lesson or training, and I don’t watch stand up, ever… Everyrhing came from them.

I carry you in every step and I carry the crown of coming from land where everybody is an artist. Im from the lands of Luiz Gonzaga, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Alceu ValenƧa, JoĆ£o Gilberto, Chico Science…

And the trans girl is for sure the tallest but also the baddest most educated polyglot globetrotter cosmonaut in the family šŸ’“ and trust me every woman in my family is a BO$$! Im from a family where the majority of women are more powerful and wealthier than the men šŸ«¶šŸ½

This work is about how I see gender as a dream, how I dreamed this woman and materialized her like a sci-fi story of my own. A sci-fi of my own autonomy.

Prepare yourselves for quantic dreaming, metamorphosis, sci-fi, 3d and silicone based life.

This work is also an ode to transsexual people, the people who met the borders of the first foreign country the west has created: Nature. We transpassed it and rebirthed ourselves with sovereignty.

I claim my body as belonging to nature. I birthed myself.
I was my mother, my daughter, my sister, my amiga. It was by falling in love with the man I once was that made me become devoted to the woman I became.

Each of us is a whole family constellation in the cosmos of infinite possibilities of being, that the world hates us for, for being astronauts.

Einige User*innen reagieren mit einem Boykott und ziehen sich von Metas Plattformen zurück. Aber wie sinnvoll ist das? Und was, wenn man auf Instagram angewiesen ist, um große Reichweiten zu erzielen?

Amigas I didn’t wanna spoil but I can’t contain myself hihihi

My new project called ā€œOne way ticketā€ is finally being born. I’ve been working on these ideas for years now and I felt like I put out a lot of the things I’m not allowed to say in words about my experience in this society. And also as a trans traveling artist of diasporic descent in this world.

This photo series was made in collab with the super talented photographer and costume/set/interior designer 🄰 it was really a bless to work with such professional and creative ppl.

And to all the spaces who closed doors for me: I don’t need doors I climbed the building and I’m spitting on your heads and you think it’s raining 🄰🄰🄰
