Now I love my desserts. Got a massive sweet tooth and this just hit the spot.
Bubble Waffles invited us down to their branch next to Aston Uni, they also have a branch in Selly Oak.
They sorted us out with a couple of their best desserts, a couple drinks, and a new item menu 😏
My favourite was their NEW kunafeh croffle. Wasn’t too sweet so just hit the spot.
The mocktail they gave was a bit too sweet for my liking however the pistachio milkshake was banginggggg

We recently visited in the heart of Birmingham as we were craving some dessert. The shop surprisingly is half and half with a supermarket next door! Although it may seem small at first, they do have lots of seating downstairs.
We tried a variety of items but let’s start with the kunafa range. They offer their own twist on the pistachio kunafa trend with a kunafa milkshake — which I’d never seen before! The kunafa itself was perfect; in some places it’s usually burnt, but this one was amazing — just the right amount of pistachio cream and sweetness, not too sickly either.
Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying the bubble waffles — it’s in the name after all! The waffles were super fresh, crispy on the outside yet soft and chewy inside. They nailed the texture, and the mix of warm waffle with cold ice cream and toppings was so satisfying. The kunafa cookie dough and kunafa croffle were beautifully presented with a very generous amount of toppings and sauce. The cookie dough came straight out of the oven in a skillet which made the whole thing feel even more authentic 👀🫶
We did wait around 2 hours for all the desserts, which came out two at a time since they were quite busy and only had one staff member — massive shoutout to them for managing everything!
Overall, it was really good and definitely worth the hype, even though I’d never heard of it before. I’ll be back once the waiting times improve. 🫡
