2016 was probably one of the best years. We were living in Chico, hiking and camping on the weekends. Brian graduated and we took the summer off to explore Europe before we started our next chapter going into the corporate workforce. At that time I was “blogging” for funsies documenting our adventures, thinking to myself maybe I would make something of it someday.

I loved hearing all the little happy squeaks and squeals behind me in the carrier 🥰 it was our first time testing out the hiking backpack - I carried on the downhill for 2 miles and Brian carried on the incline.

Some highlights:
-becoming a mom (definitely the biggest one)
-taking my first solo work trip (3 months postpartum might I add)
-getting to work with some awesome brands during a time when I was uncertain about how I’d manage life & my content postpartum & more💗
-hosting a fall women’s retreat in Truckee! I wasn’t sure I’d be able to pull one together but I’m happy I made it happen!
- taking multiple road trips with our baby and taking her on her first flight. I wondered how travel would be different with a baby but I’m glad we’ve managed to still get out and enjoy travel just as much as before.
-hiking fern canyon, exploring Morro bay, traveling to Virginia, helicopter & sea plane ride in Canada, trips to San Diego, enjoying travel with our families, cabin & yurt trips
- adding our Silverado to the fam
