Why does society get to decide that just because you have a lot of kids that you are suppose to be failing or something.
I personally feel like it’s the total opposite. Sure times are chaos. But the majority of the time - having 4 littles, everyday a new level of you as a being is unlocked. For the good.
Every opportunity to tell someone that I have 4 kids 5 and under with a man that I love and we get raise them. I am beyond proud to say it.
And not only to say it but to be it. I get to take them places I get to help steward them. And turn them into members of society. And I promise you they won’t fall into that trap where they think having a big family is a burden, instead my hope is that see it and feel it as a blessing - the same way me and my husband do.
Because we love this life with them and this big family we created.
When designing these bouquets for I really tried to think about what I would want to receive myself for Mother’s Day.
Something colorful, whimsy and a little bit magical. Because well that’s what Motherhood is to me.
Motherhood is so challenging yet so rewarding.

We may only have one set day for us moms - but we also know - we make all things go round.

I feel like my creatively thrives when I go into the process unknowing ahead of what I have.
It’s why I love when my husband brings home tulips and peonies from my father in law from the Bollenstreek also because I get to be creative and I’m also learning what I enjoy working with.

I’m Britt - I became a mother of 3 only two weeks ago. I am a 34 year old American from Florida living in a small farm village in The Netherlands. I came here after meeting my Dutch husband Ruben in Thailand 7 years ago while I was solo backpacking. I walked up to his table on a whim one night, it was a love at first sight kinda thing and the rest is history!
We always knew we would have three kids so just this morning we talked about how we accomplished a goal of ours 😜. 3 kids - check ✔️!
As I see this space of mine growing more and more just know that I tend to use for the good of my faith, honest motherhood, and a whole lotta homemaking. I love to cook and involve my kids in the kitchen with me.
I have always lived my life in the pursuit of who I was designed by the Architect to be and I want to encourage you do the same, always.
