This collaboration is built on the iconic Sk8-Hi around a photograph I took in Tepito, Mexico City — el barrio bravo and the site of the first public Santa Muerte altar, established by Enriqueta “Doña Queta” Romero. What started as a private family altar became a life‑sized public shrine in 2001, open to anyone who wished to pray or leave offerings.
This project is my tribute to that place, and to Doña Queta, honoring the devotion, resilience, and raw energy of the neighborhood.
