The BTS
 better than the final result.

I asked for a simple cute birthday video.

And somehow it turned into people moving furniture, relighting candles, resetting shots, laughing through a million takes, and fully committing like it was the most normal thing in the world.

Surround yourself with this. Not because of the video, but people who will go above and beyond for you, who will go all out because they love you that much. Who just show up, say yes, and make moments feel easier, even when they’re a little chaotic.

Turning 30 has made me appreciate that kind of support more than anything else.

If I have one piece of advice for getting older, it’s find people who love you like this.
This is 30.
Still kind of can’t wrap my head around that.

There was a long time where 30 felt
 heavy.
Like once you hit it, life was supposed to be boring. Less freedom, more responsibility, fewer options. Babies. Settling. “Being serious.” And while I don’t love how my knees crack when I sit
. Arriving at 30 isn’t nearly what I thought it would be.

My 20s were basically one long experiment.
Working hard. Wanting to travel. Feeling guilty about spending money. Then feeling guilty about not enjoying life enough. Working crazy hours. Then not working at all. Trying to figure out what actually mattered and what I was just doing because everyone else was.

Entering my 20s felt like the whole world was as in front of me and there would be plenty of time for all the things I wanted to do. Entering my 30s I’m very conscious of how short and how precious life is. It’s not all the time we think it is. And it makes me want to live more of it, not less. It’s giving myself permission to live life however the heck I want to. Regardless of what society says.

So here’s to 30. To traveling more, living with experiences don’t feel like an escape from real life, they feel like part of it.

So yeah 30 doesn’t scare me the way it used to. And if you’re in your 20s approaching the scary 30
I promise, it only gets better.
It feels like finally knowing what to double down on.

And honestly
 that feels really good.

BTS coming soon because getting this was so dang funny.
For a long time, I thought airline points were just
 discounts. Free flights -right? WRONG.

I’d use them because I had them.
Redeem them on short flights.
Feel proud I “saved money.”

It wasn’t until I started treating points like a strategy, not a reward, that everything changed.

Points aren’t meant to replace cash.
They’re meant to beat it.
And airlines use a miles system to confuse us- they do a good job!

Now, before I redeem anything, I run one simple check:
Does this redemption get me something I wouldn’t pay for out of pocket?

If the answer is no: I pay cash and save the points.

That shift alone turned underwhelming redemptions into better seats, long-haul upgrades, and trips that actually feel special. plus makes our miles stretch so much longer

If you want to stop guessing, I made the exact calculator I use before every booking.
It tells you when to use points vs. when to pay cash in seconds.

👉 Comment “POINTS” and I’ll send it to you for free.
Trip Transparency. Part 1: Thailand đŸ‡č🇭

8 nights| Honeymoon itinerary | $3.5k ($6.5k w/ flights for 2) | 3 regions

Thailand is notoriously “cheap”
But “cheap” depends on how you travel.

This was our honeymoon, so we did Thailand the luxury way:
private experiences, upgraded suites, and moving between regions comfortably- not hostels, not group tours.

You already saw what we paid above.
Here’s the part most people don’t see: what this exact itinerary usually costs at luxury Thailand pricing.

A comparable luxury Thailand honeymoon: Chiang Mai + Krabi + Khao Sok, upgraded rooms, private elephant experience, private boat day, and internal transfers is commonly priced around $8,000–$12,000+ when booked through hotels, tour operators, or luxury planners.

Why the number is usually that high:
‱ Upgraded suites (private jacuzzi / premium rooms) often run $400–$600+ per night (we didn’t pay more than $275 max)
‱ Private elephant overnights typically price higher than standard group experiences (not joking when I say the IG famous places you see online run for 1k + a night - won’t name names. We paid a fraction of that for 98% the same experience)
‱ Private long-tail boat days are commonly packaged at a premium (we saw many for $800+)
‱ Khao Sok lake bungalows are frequently bundled into high-cost overnight private tours (we booked ours straight through the national park and saved a ton + got a more authentic experience)
‱ Multiple internal transfers add up quickly when booked last minute (we bundled ours into the existing bookings by booking direct in advance)

We didn’t downgrade the experience to save money.
We booked the same level of trip, just more intentionally and we know EXACTLY how to book to maximize our $$$.

That’s the difference between copying one itinerary you see online and learning a system you can reuse over and over.

👉 Follow along if you want to learn how we book trips like this, not just Thailand, but anywhere.
We are laying out the full process in our book so you can build your own versions, again and again.

👇 And let me know in the comments if this type of trip transparency is helpful — I’ll keep the series going if so.
“Are you going to settle down after marriage?”

It’s interesting what people actually mean by that.

We bought a house.
We got married.
We built something stable.

And somehow, that comes with an unspoken expectation:
less movement, fewer dreams, more routine, have babies, stay put, live differently.

But why does building a foundation automatically mean your life has to settle?

Stability was never the end goal for us.
It was the support system.

Stability meant we could plan bigger, move smarter, and experience more, together.
More travel.
More shared moments.
More life, not less.

We didn’t choose each other to shrink our world. We chose each other to expand it.

Settling down doesn’t have to mean settling for less.
It can mean building something strong enough to live fully on top of it.
This is the only time I’ll ever tell you not to plan ahead.

In major cities, last-minute hotel bookings can work in your favor, literally the only time I’ll ever advise anyone to book last minute.
But use this trick strategically

HotelsTonight works because in cities like New York, Madrid, Paris etc. there are hundreds of hotels competing for the same business. When rooms go unsold, prices drop close to check-in.
The same hotel that would have been $300 weeks ago can go for $130 same day. It’s one of my favorite money savers.

But beware, this is not a trick to be used in small towns and sometimes not even. peak weekends, not anywhere with limited hotel inventory. But in a city like New York? Oh yea. One of the best travel game changers.

Planning smart doesn’t always mean booking early.Sometimes it means knowing when waiting actually works.

If you want $25 off your first HotelsTonight booking, comment HOTEL and I’ll send you my unique code.
This isn’t a money problem.

It’s a priorities problem.

Odds are, those sneakers aren’t the only thing weighing you down. There’s probably a closet full of clothes you don’t need and don’t wear: brand names, impulse buys, “treat yourself” moments that added up quietly.

A $500 pair of shoes.
A few $200 jackets.
A handful of $100 outfits worn once.
That one $300 dress you just had to have.

That’s a weekend in Mexico.
A flight to Europe.
A full trip somewhere new.

We’ve normalized spending thousands on things that sit in closets, while calling travel “impractical,” “irresponsible,” or something we’ll do later.

When people ask me how I travel so much, my first question is often: “what do you spend your money on?” Because odds are, I’m no more special than them. I just chose to spend on experiences, not things.

This isn’t about never buying nice things.
It’s about noticing when consumption starts replacing the life you actually want to live.

Because at the end of the day,
no one remembers what you wore,
but you never forget where you’ve been.

Build a life that feels big,
not just one that looks expensive.
Most people don’t use all their PTO.

Not because they don’t want time off,
but because taking it feels disruptive.

Work piles up.
Meetings get missed.
It feels easier to save days “for later.”

I plan my PTO this way for two reasons:

1. It minimizes the work I miss.
When trips are built around holidays and long weekends, fewer working days are affected, which makes time off feel lighter, not stressful.

2. It stretches the same PTO further.
Instead of burning days one at a time, I turn the same 15 days into multiple long trips across the year.

What you’re seeing on screen isn’t a loophole or a flex.
It’s just planning PTO the same way you’d plan a project- intentionally.

Save this for planning your 2026 trips.
We realized we’ve been sharing little pieces of our adventures, but never really stopped to introduce ourselves properly.

We didn’t start sharing our travels to show off.
We started because people kept asking the same questions.

How do you afford this?
Do you work full time?
Is this real life or just Instagram?

The truth is- travel was never the point.

The point was building a life that feels full without burning out, going broke, or waiting for “someday.”

We’re not here to sell a fantasy.
We’re here to share the strategy behind the moments.

The money saving hacks.
The trade-offs.
The planning that makes room for experiences and stability.
And maybe inspire you along the way.

We started this page as a way to document our travels, for us, for our families, and for the memories. But it’s grown into something we care deeply about: telling stories, capturing moments, and creating resources that make travel feel more doable (and a lot less overwhelming).

If you’re here because you want to live well, travel intentionally, and be smart about it, you’re in the right place.
This is just the beginning.

#tcpchallenge
“I don’t know what exactly the future has in store for us. But I know no matter where we are or what have in this world, I will always be home as long as I am with you. I know that when I look back at my life, I won’t care if Im remembered for my career, for any title, for any possessions I could ever own. I want to be remembered as the woman who loved you with every fiber her being till the end of her days.”
