This is one of the most feared spiders in all of North America. Armed with one of the most potent venoms of any spider on the planet, the Black Widow is not a species you want to take a bite from, but is it really that scary?
I’ve worked with hundreds of Black Widows over the years, and just like most other spider species, they want absolutely nothing to do with you. They are not aggressive, they don’t want to bite, and they don’t target people. The spider in this video is the perfect example of that, she was an absolute sweetheart:)
