I always knew lighting in my office was an issue, but couldn’t find a solution as I don’t have much space to work with. When BenQ introduced me to the Screenbar series, I immediately knew the Halo would be the perfect addition to my setup. It not only has a monitor light to illuminate things on my desk, but also has a backlight that bounces off the wall and adds to the ambiance 👩🍳🤌🏻

Have you ever taken a “funemployed” break between jobs?! I feel like they’re necessary in tech to reset your mind.
Unboxing this deconstructed Game Boy Pocket frame from took me WAY back 🥺
On Christmas morning many years ago, I remember waking up to find a red Game Boy Pocket and Pokémon Red under the Christmas tree. My sister got the same but in blue. It was really special because each of us having our own gaming console meant we didn’t have to fight over who got to be player 1 anymore 🥲
Do you remember your first gaming console?!

I’ve been stressed/burnt out/experiencing imposter syndrome a lot lately, which is fitting, because April is Stress Awareness month! 🙃
This is normal when you’re facing new challenges as a developer, but it can sometimes feel unbearable. Do you have any tricks on how to overcome these issues?

Don’t let the fact that it is a male dominated field stop you from pursuing a career in tech 👀. You got this!

I’ve been creating a lot of PRs lately, and wanted to share some tips on how to create the perfect Pull Request! Your team will love you for it 😉
- What is the problem you needed to solve? Include a link to the GitHub issue/Jira ticket/Trello card.
- Provide a quick overview of 𝘸𝘩𝘺 the work is taking place. Include any links to resources you’ve found while researching the issue. Assume the person reviewing your PR has 0 context onto what/why you’re doing in this PR.
- Include an overview of how you broke down this work- could be a list of each commit you’ve made (assuming you make meaningful commit messages. If not... why aren’t you?!)
- Note of any other changes/optimizations you’ve made in this pull request, i.e.
- optimized utility function `thisFunction` to do x as well as y.
- added package (link to package) to handle z.
- Future concerns- is there anything you need feedback on? Is this a WIP? Mention this, and tag individuals to start a discussion.
- 🎇 Screenshots, especially if you’re making frontend changes
Is there anything you include in your PRs that’s not listed here?! If so, let me know 🤓

I know it’s REALLY scary and overwhelming at first, but it’s called “version control” for a reason! You can always fix whatever mistake you’ve made.
Recently, I came across the website 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐠𝐢𝐭.𝐜𝐨𝐦 (or 𝐨𝐡𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐠𝐢𝐭.𝐜𝐨𝐦 if you’re feeling spicy). It goes over the most common mistakes you might make in a repo, and how to solve them! Definitely worth bookmarking 👀
What’s the scariest mistake you’ve ever made with Git… and were you able to fix it?!

Step 1: Scream/cry about it. (Optional)
Step 2: View the commit history using git log- then checkout each commit hash, until you find the one where the project was compiling last.
Step 3: Compare this state of your project to the commit that breaks things. What are the differences? This should help you pinpoint what’s wrong!
