Jett-dawg charcoal art! 🎨🖼️🐶
Definitely my new favorite work of art to go on the wall. I love how his facial expression is taken from when he was looking intently at me while I was stretching… makes it that much more special.

If you’d like to get one of these of your own dog, slide on into the DM’s of to find out more.

Some magic moments with my boy lately 🐶❤️

Getting Jett was the best decision I ever made. Nothing grounds me or gets me out of the house and into nature more than my dawg.

It’s horrifying to hear that an “online r*pe academy” was visited that many times in a month, let alone the fact that it even exists.
We can’t ignore that this problem exists, and has done for far too long. And while most of us men can say we’ve never r*ped or sexually assaulted anyone, that’s not enough. It’s the responsibility of us men to shut it down where it starts; objectifying women or taking part in locker room talk, which are things I was guilty of in my younger years. It can feel uncomfortable to call out our friends, but it’s necessary.
“She was into it, she just needed convincing”
“No doesn’t always mean no”
“She dressed like that, what did she expect?”
Comments like this and so many others often go unchecked or aren’t called out, but that’s part of the problem that allows r*ape culture to exist.
As men it’s our responsibility to call out the misogynistic behavior, degrading comments, even the comments presented as jokes… because we’re contributing to the problem by normalizing this behavior.
Be better, and I’ll start with myself. We all have to start with ourselves even if we’re in the “it’s not all men” crowd. Because it starts with our mentality, and is backed up by our actions.
Call it out. Shut it down. We need to do better.

Also I’m all for exposing every single person who visited that site! Fucking disgusting.

Sublime was unreal! Such an iconic band and so fortuitous to have the son of the original singer, Bradley Nowell, to step in and carry on the legacy. He sounds just like him and brings his young energy to the band.
Cheers and for bringing them to NZ and giving me another incredible live music experience. 🙌🏼😁

iLevel getting me back amongst the action!

It’s really cool that most concert venues have special areas for wheelchair users, but sometimes you just want to get amongst the crowd and cut loose with your friends! 😎🕺🏻💃🏽
In a life with so many restrictions, it’s awesome to get something back, even if it’s as basic as a slightly higher perspective.

How incredible it is to be in a position to positively impact others around me.
How grateful I am to have been given a task back then that required such deep work that it molded me into someone to lead and inspire others today.
Sharing my story is something I’m becoming more and more grateful for whenever the opportunity arises. So if your school or workplace could you a solid dose of inspiration… I’m your man!

I’ve had all I can stand, I can’t stand no more! 💪🏼

I’ve realized that pushing through to 100 days is not going to benefit the actual goal. I’m going to continue standing regularly, but I’m done counting.
Sometimes we set a target or a challenge, but it’s okay to change your mind if it’s better for you in the long run.

Celebrating 10 years since my injury! 🎉

This anniversary used to bring a whole bunch of emotion with it… but I’m happy to say that now I have zero negative attachments to the 6th of July (7th in NZ). It’s a day to celebrate the fact that I not only survived, but I’m thriving and in a real good place of happiness… regardless of the daily challenges I still face.
I want to thank everyone who has supported me and helped me along on this journey so far. It’s taken several key people, along with the army of incredible friends and supporters around the world. I truly wouldn’t be the man I am today without you.

I love you! 🫶🏻

Wild to think it’s been 10 years already!

This was the best day of my life, landing a worlds first like this, with my buddies cheering me on, knowing I was about to win the greatest award in Wakeboarding… it was an absolute dream. And while we all know what happened not long after… I just want to take this moment to look back and appreciate how fucking proud I am of myself to have worked my ass off to reach this particular milestone. I’d battled so much adversity through my career and did it all with next to no financial support from sponsors. I did it because I truly loved the sport and was hooked on pushing myself, discovering what limits I could reach and push even further. I’m proud because I never gave up. And what’s more, looking back from where I’m sitting now, it’s pretty damn incredible what my body allowed me to do!

I owe this to my family and friends who supported me the most. To those who let me crash on their couches and ride behind their boats. And those few sponsors who did believe in me and give me a chance. You all know who you are! 🫶🏻🫵🏻

Thank you Wakeboarding for the best years of my life. Who knew standing sideways on a board could take me around the world, deliver a wealth of awesome experiences and allow me to meet so many incredible people. What a ride!! 🤘🏼

Today is my 9 year re-birthday! 🎉

Wild to think it’s been 9 years since the day I broke my neck and my life flipped upside down… There have been so many massive challenges, frustrations and struggles along the way, but there have been even more incredible moments as well that I’d like to celebrate today. Huge thanks to everyone who has been a part of it.

It’s been one hell of a ride so far! 🤘🏼
