What interests me here is the balance between identity and restraint.

Art Deco references, 1940s influences, and Parisian seventies cues are carefully edited into a language that feels contemporary rather than nostalgic.

The strongest hospitality spaces don’t rely on novelty. They create a point of view through composition, proportion, and atmosphere, allowing guests to feel they are somewhere unmistakably specific.

What interests me here is the way material becomes continuous architecture.
Sandblasted travertino noce runs from wall to cabinetry in a single gesture, while Egyptian sandstone defines the working surface with a quiet heaviness. Everything is chamfered, softened, and calibrated through touch as much as through sight.
The effect is not display, but immersion. A space that holds you rather than presents itself.

A controlled palette of plywood, steel, and light, framed with remarkable precision.
What I admire here is the restraint. Every line, surface, and opening feels intentional, allowing the material language to do the work.

What interests me here is the sense of continuity between place and intervention.

A 110 year old merchant’s residence has been carefully reconstructed and extended, not to overwrite its history, but to hold it. New and old sit in close proximity, reflecting the layered architecture of the Bikan Historical Quarter outside.

The result is a quiet form of hospitality, where craftsmanship, material, and restraint shape a deeper sense of atmosphere and belonging.

Marie-Anne Derville’s Paris studio. A space shaped by process, intuition, and accumulation.

What interests me here is how the studio reads as a reflection of practice. Objects, materials, and works in progress held in a loose but deliberate composition.
The best creative spaces often reveal a way of thinking as much as a way of working.

What interests me here is the sense of volume. The room feels generous without relying on excess, allowing architecture, furniture, and light to establish their own relationship.

A reminder that space itself is often the most powerful material.

As a co-founder and creative director, it was good to see how naturally worked their way into the DNA of the brand.

Their willingness to understand was never automatic. It was disciplined, but also instinctive.

Jasmine Gallagher and Shy Trutwein were clear about what they could deliver, and they delivered it on time with freshness and integrity.

The alignment between how they work and our brand vision, collection and imagery created something that feels complete in a way that is not always easy to achieve.

Fabrizio and I are very grateful for this collaboration.

I also want to mention the support and involvement of Alana Wulff at, who introduced us to and supported us throughout with tone guidance and copy. Her contribution added an important layer to how we articulate the brand.

Thank you.

What stays with me here is continuity.

George Nakashima pieces first acquired in 1987 at Odakyu HALC have been lived with for nearly 40 years at ToKoi in Nishiazabu, not kept aside but used every day.

With the closure of the gallery they have now moved into a new Japanese architectural setting where they continue their life in a different context.

A simple but powerful reminder that good pieces do not stand still, they move through time and remain in use.

Effetti Personali — an exhibition by in Nice.

A selection of works that move through memory, intimacy, and emotional landscape, presented in a format that keeps the experience deliberately close and contained.

What I’ve always admired in Enrica’s photography is this sensitivity to atmosphere — a way of holding presence without over-defining it.
