Zu Besuch in einem ehemaligen Ferienlager der DDR. Ferienlager war eine organisierte Urlaubszeit fรผr Kinder und Jugendliche, meist in den Sommerferien. Sie wurden oft von Betrieben, Schulen oder der Freie Deutsche Jugend (FDJ) organisiert.Kinder lebten zusammen in einfachen Unterkรผnften (Bungalows oder Schlafsรคlen). Es gab Sport, Spiele, Baden, Basteln und Ausflรผge. Der Tagesablauf war klar geregelt (Wecken, Essen, Aktivitรคten). Neben Spaร spielte auch politische Erziehung eine Rolle, z. B. durch Lieder, Fahnenappelle, Ziel war also eine Mischung aus Erholung, Gemeinschaftserlebnis und sozialistischer Erziehung.

Auf einer unseren LP- Tour entdeckten wir diesen sehr alten, antiken Kinderwagen - aus der spรคten Grรผnderzeit (ca. ).Diese Wagen wurden oft aus Metallgestellen mit Holz- oder Korbwanne hergestellt, teils handgefertigt. Typische Merkmale sind die Groรen, filigranen Speichenrรคder aus Metall,Holz- oder Korbwanne mit Stoffauskleidung sowie Hohe und schmale Bauform.

On one of our LP tours we discovered this very old, antique stroller - from the late Grรผnderzeit (approx. ). These wagons were often made of metal frames with wooden or basket tray, partly handmade.
